The Winter Blush

This winter I’m wearing shades which were released in spring-summer and i bought with the intent “ooh perfect for fall-winter!!” so naturally I put them to use. Each blush review coming soon but for now just a description. All the colors are dark (no surprise) which would be perfect for a contoured look or the i-just-came-out-of-the-snow red cheeks look also this season I tried my hand at cream blushes (review coming soon).

from the left: Illamasqua cream blush in Rude, Sleek blush-by-3 palette in Pink Sprint, Sleek blush in Pomegranate, Sleek blush-by-3 palette in Sugar

The Illamasqua cream blush looks very scary and vampy in the pot but once applied it is beautiful, light  and very subtle almost a natural blush. The Sleek blush by 3 palette in ‘Pink Sprint’ has colors which again are dark and incredibly pigmented and must be applied with a light hand and they look oh so beautiful once applied, a wonderful palette based on purple shades. The other Sleek blush by 3 palette in Sugar and its equally pretty containing shades perfect for fall infact its complete if you want to use the middle shade as a bronzer and the rest as blushes, wonderful finish to the skin and look very natural. They are highly pigmented and completely buildable. The single blush by Sleek is Pomegranate which is a mix of dark pink with a bluish purple tinge and very fine shimmer which disappears on the skin, very beautiful if applied on the apples of the cheek and perfect to give a lift to an otherwise plain face.

On another note, I’m still testing out my editing skills and my blogging skills, need to give this time but thats what I’m unable to do along with setting this page up properly so bear with me please =)
